Police investigate rumored threat against Lookout Valley Middle/High School

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – On Wednesday, Chattanooga Police were notified of a possible threat against Lookout Valley Middle/High School.

The threat was directed at the school for later in the week.

The CPD Neighborhood Policing and Criminal Investigations bureaus investigated the threat thoroughly and found no known active threat against the school.

Out of an abundance of caution, there will be an increased officer presence at Lookout Valley Middle/High School for the rest of the week.
