Scottsboro City Schools student suspended for making threat

SCOTTSBORO, Ala. (WDEF) — A student made a threat to another student at Collins Intermediate School in Scottsboro on Thursday.

Scottsboro Police learned of this threat around 11 p.m. on Thursday, November 16.

School administration has since suspended that student. They will face further disciplinary action as well.

The Scottsboro Police Department said they would have greater presence on all school campuses on Friday, November 17.

Scottsboro officers are still investigating this incident.
