UPDATE: Explosion hazard all clear

UPDATE: Chattanooga firefighters have given the all clear now.

The explosion hazard was from an unknown chemical in the truck that was on fire earlier.

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Chattanooga firefighters and emergency officials are at Shallowford Village Drive on an explosion hazard.

They’re evacuating some business parking lots and telling others inside the businesses to stay where they are.

Officials say it was a truck fire earlier.

It’s in a parking lot across from the Shoney’s. 

We’ll bring you more information as it becomes available.

Right now officials are saying to stay away from the area.
