Mom to Mom – Snowman Pumpkin

Today on Mom to Mom, we are making snowman pumpkins.

If you still have some pumpkins left over from maybe Halloween or Thanksgiving that have not been carved. Believe it or not, pumpkins do last for up to three months. So, what we’re going to do are create snowman out of these pumpkins, and what I have done is I went ahead, and spray painted these pumpkins just to save a little time. I recommend spray paint. It’s the quickest and easiest way to go, but you can use acrylic paint as well. I also have a hat and a scarf that I got off Amazon, but you can find them at a craft store or even create your own. I have some puff paint here and I have some sharpies. So, what I’m going to do first, now that I have these pumpkins painted, I’m just going to set these on top of each other and kind of display it out front or in the house somewhere.

But if you want them to stay, you could probably stick a pole through them, but I will tell you they’re not going to last as long. So, what you’re going to want to do is you want to hot glue your hat onto the smallest pumpkin. So, you want two pumpkins, one’s bigger on the bottom of course, and a smaller one on top. You’re going to hot glue your hat to the pumpkin. Then you are going to either use your puff paint or a Sharpie to do some eyes on the snowman. Then you are going to do a nose and a mouth. Just have fun with it. Then you’re going to go to the bigger part, draw some buttons on there. Then you can stick the head on top of the other pumpkin, tie the scarf on, and you have the cutest little snowman pumpkin for the holidays. And what a great way to repurpose these pumpkins as well. That way you don’t want to throw them away. You can just reuse them. Hopefully, you love this idea as much as we do. If you have any wonderful ideas using pumpkins or just for Christmas in general, we’d love to hear about it. You can message us up on our Facebook page and we’ll see you on the next Mom to Mom.
