Stuff a cruiser takes place at Save A-lot in Fort Oglethorpe

FORT OGLETHORPE, Ga. (WDEF) – Fort Oglethorpe Police Department and Save A-lot are partnering together for Stuff a Cruiser. 

The event provides canned goods to Christ Chapel Church in Ringgold,

Folk can purchase these food bags for 5 dollars at Save a-lot to help people in need. 

Last year, Save A-Lot gave Christ Chapel more than 400 food bags. 

“It just brightens someone’s day. Christ Chapel loves to come up here, pick these up, and give to the people. We love to make it and see the look on people’s faces,” said Joe Herron, Save A-Lot Manager 

“People are really generous. You would be surprised. I mean they come in here and buy four or five bags at a time.”
