Vols Running Back Jabari Small Opting Out of Citrus Bowl

Tennessee arrived in Orlando for the Citrus Bowl on Tuesday, but senior running back Jabari Small did not make the trip.

He is opting out of the game according to several media reports, even though Small hasn’t announced his plans for next year yet.

Small ran for close to 500-yards last season. He has over 2,000 yards rushing in his UT career.

Vols leading rusher Jaylen Wright has already bailed on the bowl game for the NFL draft.

Tennessee faces Iowa on New Year’s day from Orlando at 1pm.
