Ladd McConkey, other Bulldogs declaring for NFL draft

ATHENS, Ga. (WDEF) — Another Bulldog announced his departure from UGA.
Tight end Brock Bowers declared for the NFL draft on Tuesday night, January 2, via Instagram.
In his statement, he expressed his appreciation for having the chance to spend the last three years at the school.
Bowers missed a lot of playing time in the 2023 season due to an ankle injury.
However, he still made quite an impact during his playing time. Bowers made six touchdowns during the 2023 season but was not well enough to play in the Orange Bowl.
ATHENS, Ga. (WDEF) — Two running backs and two wide receivers for the University of Georgia have announced their plans to enter the NFL draft.
Running backs Daijun Edwards and Kendall Milton are both leaving the Bulldogs in the 2024 season.
Wide receiver Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint declared for the NFL draft, as did Chatsworth native, Ladd McConkey.
McConkey made three touchdowns for the Bulldogs this season, one of which being in the Orange Bowl.
Edwards had 880 rushing yards, the most of any of the Bulldogs this season, according to the Associated Press.
Both Edwards and McConkey spent the last four years at the University of Georgia.
Milton rushed two touchdowns in Georgia’s 63-3 win over Florida State in the Orange Bowl. He was then named the MVP of the Orange Bowl.
Additionally, Milton had three consecutive games in which he scored two touchdowns.
All three made the announcement on January 1, following Georgia’s Orange Bowl win.
Rosemy-Jacksaint had four receiving touchdowns for the team in 2023.
The 2024 NFL draft is scheduled to take place April 25-27.
