Claude Ramsey Puts Off Retirement For A New Project
But now the former Hamilton County Mayor and state lawmaker is announcing a comeback.
Ramsey is forming River Branch Strategies.
It will be a government relations firm here in Chattanooga.
“Over the last four decades I’ve worked to build relationships between regional organizations and every level of government in Tennessee; now we’re making it an official business,” Ramsey said.
“I know from my time in government service that conversations at the state and local levels impact businesses across Tennessee. Our team can help connect these groups with government officials to share information and learn from their experiences. We are here to make the process easier and provide access for people.”
Ramsey served as chief of staff for Governor Haslam.
But his career includes a stint in the Tennessee legislature, Hamilton County Assessor and also Mayor.
