Gas Prices Rising in Chattanooga

Chattanooga (WDEF) – The Gas Buddy survey reports that prices have risen by half a penny over the last week in Chattanooga.

Still, we can count our blessings.

Gas is ten cents cheaper than it was last month and a dollar 44 cheaper than last year.

And GasBuddy sticks by their prediction that we could see the cheapest summer season for gas since 2005.

"This is the first time since the 2005 that we’ve seen such low gasoline prices combined with a strong economy, making it a great time to think about hitting the road this summer," says Patrick DeHaan of GasBuddy.
