Lightning Strikes Home and “Jolts” Resident
Hamilton County (WDEF) – A Lightning strike caused a small fie in East Brainerd this morning.
It hit a townhouse on Arbell Lane just off Shallowford Road.
Tri-Community firemen found smoke in the home and a fire in the attic.
They got it out quickly.
A resident told our Erik Avanier that he was working on his computer when the lightning struck.
He says he felt a jolt from the electric surge.
But he wasn’t hurt badly enough to go to the hospital.
