Whitfield County Scores Major Cocaine Bust

Dalton (WDEF) – Investigators announce arrests in a month long probe into the cocaine business in northwest Georgia.

The Whitfield County Sheriff’s Department arrested five people on Wednesday during a sting in which they sold three kilograms of cocaine in a Dalton restaurant parking lot.

The asking price was $87,000.

Investigators say Moesheay Gustus and Michael Crawford Jr. were the ringleaders.

Joe Percy, Chrstopher Hanner and Anthony Cunningham were also arrested at the scene.

All of the suspects are from Chattanooga.
