Mocs dominate in 90-62 win over The Citadel
GoMocs- The Chattanooga Mocs improve to 14-7 overall and 6-2 in SoCon play with a 90-62 win over The Citadel (9-12, 1-7 SoCon) at The McKenzie Arena Saturday afternoon. The win is the fourth straight for Chattanooga.
UTC shot 60.3 percent (35-58) from the field with 11 3-pointers and was 9-of-14 from the free throw line. The Mocs outrebounded the Bulldogs 39-23 with nine offensive boards that resulted in 15 points compared to four for The Citadel on six offensive rebounds.
Honor Huff led all scorers with 19 points and was 4-of-6 from the 3-point line while sinking all five free throw attempts. Also in double digits for UTC was Sam Alexis (17), Jan Zidek (13) and Trey Bonham (12). Randy Brady had a game-high eight rebounds.
