Salvation Army to spread positivity through ‘Flowers of Hope’
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Salvation Army’s Flowers of Hope program is returning to bring flowers to those in need of encouragement.
The program, organized by the Women’s Auxiliary, will return on February 16, 2024. It will take place once a month through October.
Volunteers will create flower arrangements, which they will then distribute to locations such as assisted living facilities, nursing homes, schools and more.
The Salvation Army hopes to spread positivity and brighten peoples’ day with these arrangements.
“We believe in the power of small acts of kindness to make a significant impact on the lives of others,” said Women’s Auxiliary spokesperson Cindy Hindmon. “The Flowers of Hope program is a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and bring joy to those who may be facing challenges.”
