2 displaced after Summerville house catches fire
SUMMERVILLE, Ga. (WDEF) — A family has been displaced after their home recently caught fire in Summerville.
The Trion Fire Department responded to the residential fire on Carol Drive in Summerville just before midnight.
Firefighters reported seeing heavy flames and smoke coming out of the house upon arrival.
The residents safely exited the home when firefighters arrived.
The fire department said they quickly extinguished the flames.
Red Cross is now assisting the affected residents.
Hays and Summerville Fire Departments assisted as well.
