TBI busts trafficking operation in Roane County
ROANE COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation says they have busted a human trafficking location in Rockwood, Tennessee.
Rockwood police received reports of illegal business activity ongoing at “7 Massage,” and they began investigating alongside the district attorney and TBI.
They say this massage business is located at 2305 North Gateway Avenue in Harriman, Tennessee.
Detectives have arrested one woman and charged her with three counts of patronizing prostitution. The TBI identified that woman as 79-year-old Sook Campbell.
In addition, another woman who was working there is now receiving services from a counter-trafficking program called Grow Free Tennessee. It is part of the Community Coalition Against Human Trafficking, the TBI explained.
