East Ridge Meth Arrest

East Ridge, TN (WDEF) – East Ridge Police arrested 34-year-old Michael Shawn Ford Monday morning for methamphetamine.

Officers found containers with 17 bags, totaling eight ounces, of meth at a McBrien Road home.

Ford was hiding in a closet.

In it, police also found a laundry basket with meth in it and a handgun.

Ford gave officers a false name, but they identified him from the Facebok account on his phone.

Officers also seized more than $650 in cash.

39-year-old Joshua Ireland was also arrested for drug paraphernalia.
