Shooting victim from East Brainerd Road identified
UPDATE – Chattanooga Police identify the victim as 29-year-old Samuel McCormick.
He was shot by an unknown suspect during a physical altercation.
McCormick was treated and released from the hospital.
Police continue to investigate what happened.

Chattanooga (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police investigate another shooting.
This one happened Monday morning in East Brainerd around seven.
Officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound at the Meridian at Hamilton Place Apartments.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non- life threatening injuries.
The original call said he was hit in the upper torso.
Investigators don’t have a suspect at this time.
