Tennessee Introduces New Lady Vols Coach Kim Caldwell

Tennessee introduced new Lady Vols basketball coach Kim Caldwell on Tuesday.
She says she already feels apart of the Big Orange family after getting a text from Peyton Manning.

Caldwell was the head coach at Marshall last year, and before that she had a successful run at Division Two Glenville State where she won a national title.

Just like football coach, Josh Heupel, Caldwell loves to play fast. She also embraces the legacy of the Lady Vols program.

Said Caldwell: “I will never be Pat Summit. Nobody can. But I will strive every day to be somebody she would be proud of. You want to be somewhere where the expectations are high. I’ve had a lot of opportunities in my career to look at jobs, and I was never interested in a job that did not have high expectations.”
Reporter: “Do you think your style of play can translate to the higher level or do you think you will need to modify it?”

Caldwell: “I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t think we could do it here.”>
