Nestle Destroys Perrier Over Fecal Contamination Concerns
Nestle has destroyed two million bottles of Perrier over concerns of fecal contamination.
French officials demanded the mineral water brand stop using a particular well in the South of France after “bacteria of faecal origin” was found. As a precaution, potentially affected bottles will be disposed of.
If ingested, these pathogens could cause gastrointestinal illnesses and more severe health complications. (IBI Times)
