The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office said Koger was wanted for auto theft warrants. The theft happened at a home in the Blake community.

Additionally, they said Koger was out on bond for felony charges in other cases.

Authorities arrested him on the following charges.

  • Theft of property (1st degree)
  • Burglary (3rd degree)
  • Possession of a controlled substance
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Possession of marijuana (2nd degree)
  • Resisting arrest
  • Possession of burglary tools

The sheriff added that Koger has a lengthy criminal record.

“This shows when Criminal Investigations and Drug Task Force work cases together that drugs are the root of crime in some way,” said Sheriff Nick Welden. “Great work by both units to unite and not only solve cases but bring more charges to someone who definitely needs to be held accountable and off the streets of our Great County.
