Catoosa County deputies arrest 2 after fentanyl manufacturing bust

CATOOSA COUNTY, Ga. (WDEF) — The Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people following a drug bust at a home in Ringgold.

Deputies executed a search warrant at 65 Fallbrooke Lane in Ringgold on Tuesday, May 14.

There, they found 40 grams of fentanyl, a pill press and other items used for the manufacture and distribution of narcotics. The sheriff’s office said they also found a stolen vehicle at this address.

“The amount of fentanyl seized in this search warrant would be enough to kill 20,000 individuals based on the DEA standards, who state 2 mg is a lethal dose,” explained Sheriff Gary Sisk.

Authorities then arrested James Brayden Blevins and Stephanie Catherine Barbarello.

Blevins faces the following charges.

  • Trafficking fentanyl.
  • Manufacturing/distribution of a controlled substance.
  • Theft by receiving a stolen vehicle.

Additionally, Barbarello is charged with trafficking fentanyl.
