Video Of Deer “Punching” Man On Costa Rican Beach Goes Viral
A video of a dear seemingly “punching” a beachgoer in Costa Rica has started a conversation on petting wild animals. Instagram user @descubrecostarica posted footage of a man visiting Paquera, Puntarenas, and approaching a female deer. The animal stands on her hind legs and hits him repeatedly with her front legs before leaving the area. The man is laughing at the end of the video and fortunately appears unharmed. “Bruce Lee’s deer,” one commenter writes. A representative from Rescate Wildlife Rescue Center has a message for both tourists and locals: “Wild animals have natural behaviors…We remind you that wild animals are not pets and we cannot approach them to pet them.” (Descubre Costa Rica)
