Tuition hikes proposed for UTC and UTK students
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Board of Trustees for the University of Tennessee System will consider tuition hikes at their colleges when they meet later this month.
That includes proposed hikes at both the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and Knoxville (UTC, UTK).
The UTC proposal is a 3% tuition hike, which translates to $304 more for in-state students.
The UTK hike is 2.4%.
That would cost students $328 more for the year.
