Bledsoe County receives grant for new ‘clean’ school buses

BLEDSOE COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — The EPA is handing out rebates to provide cleaner-running buses in Bledsoe County.

They are handing out $12 million to replace 44 older, diesel buses in Tennessee.

Eight counties will get the new buses, including Bledsoe County.

Most of the replacement buses will be all-electric.

The others will have alternate fuels.
