Gamer Allegedly Flies 1,000 Miles To Confront Another Player
Edward Kang has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly flying 1,000 miles to confront a gamer he met online. Kang reportedly flew from New Jersey to Florida to approach the victim. He allegedly hit the fellow gamer with a hammer after entering his house through an unlocked door. The victim and his stepfather were able to detain Kang until officials arrived. Kang and the victim may have played a game called ArcheAge together, where their fight began. While the victim was hospitalized, he has since been released. “I would say, Mr. Kang, it will be a long time before you play video games,” Nassau County Sheriff Bill Leeper said. (newser)
