Chickamauga Independence Day event will be full of activities
CHICKAMAUGA, Ga. (WDEF) — The City of Chickamauga will host its Independence Day Celebration on Saturday, June 29.
The event will take place downtown from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The city said the celebration will feature a mechanical bull, rock-climbing wall, live music and, of course, fireworks.
Fireworks will begin sometime between 9:30-10 p.m.
In addition, the event will feature a Pandoras European Motorsports area. Chickamauga officials said it will include major European motorcycle and car brands.
Ringgold-native Alan Shirley will perform a motorcycle trials stunt show. He is a former world champion competitor and Cirque Du Soleil performer, the city explained. This will begin at 4 p.m.
Musical performers “Flash Drive” and “Annetta” will perform at 4 and 6 p.m., respectively. Rosewood Grips will end the night with a performance beginning at 7:30 p.m.
There will also be food and beverages available for purchase.
