Detroit Gambler Won’t Receive Casino Jackpot
Denise Ezell claims she won $127,000 at the blackjack table at Detroit’s MGM Grand, but she hasn’t seen a penny. Ezell says the casino won’t pay out because they claim she was trespassing and panhandling. Ezell doesn’t buy this story because she’s been gaming there every week since 2015. “Do you think I would have gone down there and spent my money for eight years, knowing I was trespassing?” Ezell said. She’s planning on serving MGM with a lawsuit soon. “I just thought when you won, they would pay you,” Ezell said. (Freep)
