Delta Makes Emergency Landing After Passengers Get Sick
A Delta flight had to make an emergency landing in New York City after passengers became sick, reportedly due to the in-flight meal. Flight 136 was traveling from Detroit to The Netherlands when it was diverted to JFK. A Delta spokesperson has confirmed that a part of the in-flight meal served to customers had spoiled. Medics were waiting for the plane and offered aid to 14 passengers and 10 flight crew. Travelers were also given hotel rooms and transportation, and will be rebooked on another flight.
