Vegan Chef Challenge taking over Chattanooga throughout July

News 12 This Morning: Chef and Co-owner Daniel Starkey joins News 12’s Amelia Greer to highlight some of their special dishes crafted for the Vegan Chef Challenge this month. The unique, Japanese-inspired restaurant is making waves in the community since they opened last fall.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Vegan Chef Challenge is taking over parts of the country and inspiring people to abstain from animal cruelty.

Sarah Hyden with Vegan Outreach is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma and is hoping to spread this mission to various communities.

Several restaurants are participating in the challenge here in Chattanooga, including Attack of the Tatsu.

The city’s newest Izakaya and Ramen shop offers an array of dishes intentionally crafted for any appetite.

Chef and Co-owner Daniel Starkey highlighted some of the unique meals they are offering for the Vegan Chef Challenge this month.

The challenge lasts throughout July.
