Clerk Accused Of Stealing $1 Million Dollar Winning Lottery Ticket

A Tennessee gas station clerk has been arrested for allegedly attempting to steal a winning $1 million dollar lottery ticket. Meet Patel was captured on camera talking to a customer, discarding the ticket, and then collecting the ticket from the garbage and putting it in his pocket. Police allege that Patel told the winning customer that the ticket was a loser, and tried to nab the prize for himself. However, the scheme was reportedly uncovered when the Tennessee Lottery Commission investigated.
