Chattanooga police responds to person shot call on Brainerd Road

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Chattanooga Police responded to a person shot call on the evening of Friday, July 26, 2024.

CPD got the call at 5:18 p.m. for a person shot in the 3600 Block of Brainerd Road.

When officers arrived on scene, they found a 24-year-old male with a gunshot wound.

Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services (HCEMS) also responded to the scene and transported him to a local hospital.

After his arrival, his injuries were determined to be non-life threatening.

CPD’s Homicide Unit responded to the scene as well as they try to gather more information from the incident.

No suspect has been located yet.
