Man and woman arrested for human trafficking in Meigs County
MEIGS COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — A man and woman face charges for human trafficking of a minor out of Meigs County.
The TBI has been investigating Tristin Epperson and Clarissa McKinney for six months leading up to their arrest on Monday, July 29.
This is after agents learned about concerning interactions the pair had with a minor.
25-year-old Tristin Epperson faces several counts of statutory rape and commercial sex trafficking of a minor.
33-year-old Clarissa McKinney faces charges including commercial sex trafficking and facilitating statutory rape.
The two also face charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
They were arrested and booked into the Meigs County Jail on Monday.
Epperson’s bond is set at $100,000, while McKinney was released on her own recognizance.
