CPD investigates shooting that injured one male

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — One man was found with a gunshot wound after a shooting Tuesday night.
On July 30, 2024, Chattanooga police responded to a person shot call located in the 2200 Block of E. 24th St Ct.
When CPD arrived on scene, they found a 35-year-old male with a gunshot wound.
Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services (HCEMS) responded to the call and transported him to a local hospital.
The man had non-life threatening injuries.
An investigation lead by CPD’s Homicide Unit revealed the suspect got into an altercation with the victim, leading the suspect to fire shots at the victim.
