Walnut Street Bridge closed due to CPD investigation

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Walnut Street Bridge is closed due to an ongoing investigation.

No pedestrian or bike traffic is allowed on the bridge while Chattanooga Police are conducting this investigation.

The bridge is expected to re-open in two hours, but this is subject to change.

We are unsure what the cause of this investigation is.
