Six charged after Clarksville human trafficking investigation

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WDEF) —  The Tennessee Bureau of Investigations (TBI) assisted in a human trafficking investigation that led to the arrests of six men.

August 16, 2024, as part of an undercover operation, several decoy advertisements were placed on websites in the Montgomery County area.

Officials were seeking individuals who wanted to engage in commercial sex acts with minors.

These men were arrested and charged with the following:

  • Franklin Poe:  Two counts of Trafficking for Sexual Servitude
  • Andre Johnson:  Possession of Firearm during Commission of Dangerous Felony, Solicitation of a Minor, Trafficking for Sexual Servitude
  • Dashuan Ramey:  Trafficking for Sexual Servitude
  • James Francis:  Promoting Prostitution
  • Patrick Kugler:  Trafficking for Sexual Servitude
  • Anthony Rice:  Two counts Trafficking for Sexual Servitude

All six are being held at the Montgomery County Jail on bonds ranging from $5,000 to $145,000.
