East Hamilton Student arrested after mass violence threat

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) —  A student from East Hamilton High School was arrested after threatening mass violence.

East Hamilton High School’s Resource Deputy (SRD) was made aware of the threat at 10:00 a.m.

This student had made the threat by email.

The SRD questioned the student, and was later arrested by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.

The student is being held at the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center and is charged with violating TCA 39-16-502 or False Reports.
