Ooltewah man sentenced to 32 years for child pornography
OOLTEWAH, Tenn. (WDEF) — Dewayne Douglas Price was sentenced to 32 years in prison for multiple child exploitation charges.
Price was originally arrested back on December 9, 2022.
He plead guilty February 23, 2024 to two counts of Exploitation of a Minor, one count in receipt of Child Pornography, and one count of
Possession of Child Pornography.
According to court documents, Price solicited women throughout the U.S. to molest their children.
He would also ask the women to send him images of the abuse.
“Children are among the most vulnerable members of our community, and we must protect them in any way we can. This case is a great example of the work that can be done when state, federal, and local law enforcement agencies collaborate across state lines. We will continue to work diligently with our partners to identify and investigate those who engage in this predatory behavior to ensure the safety of our children,” said Special Agent in Charge of the FBI, Joseph E. Carrico.
Some of these women have also been federally charged.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office took part in the joint investigation to ultimately convict price.
