Cleveland Police searching for suspect in homicide investigation

CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) —  Cleveland Police are searching for a suspect linked to a homicide investigation involving a missing Cleveland woman.

Police reported they were called to 315 Northcrest circle for a missing persons report September 8, 2024.

Investigators executed a search warrant for the residence, and located the missing female inside.

Authorities identified the woman as Dayana Garcia.

Garcia was pronounced deceased at the scene, and investigators have declared this a homicide investigation.

Police have issued a First-Degree Murder warrant on Dayren Lopez Roque.

Roque has fled the state of Tennessee.

Cleveland Police are working with multiple agencies to apprehend Roque.
