Two juveniles charged after Trion High School threat

TRION, Ga. (WDEF) —  Two juveniles are being charged with making a school threat in Chattooga County, Georgia.

Sheriff Mark Shrader says that an S-R-O at Trion High School was notified of a disturbing graphic image circulating social media.

The photo was described as someone holding a rifle with alarming captions.

After an investigation, officers believe that the two juveniles pulled the image from the internet and added captions to it.

The two juveniles have been charged with terroristic threats and harassing communications.

Trion City Schools say they increased their law enforcement presence and would be operating the school on a soft lockdown all day today.
