Mom to Mom – 5-Minute Games

If your kids are complaining that they’re bored, they’re tired of all their toys, we’ve got some cute little games that you can throw together in five minutes!

Now, my kids love Nerf guns. They just shoot ’em all over the house. So this hack is where you put together a little shooting range and they have actual target to aim for.

What you’re going to need are some recycled boxes that you might have in your recycle bin, some toilet paper rolls, and some cute little balls. Have your kids color the toilet paper rolls so they get to participate in setting everything up! You can really have a lot of fun with this! Just choose however you want to do it.

Go ahead and take a hot glue gun and glue your toilet paper rolls to a board, and then when you’re ready, you can let the kids have at it with their Nerf guns! The goal is to knock the little balls off the toilet paper rolls by shooting at them.

This next game is for a toddler if you have younger children at home. Take a pool noodle and tape it together to form a circle. Then you’re going to take some regular tape and put it across the circle. You play this game by holding the pool noodle in the air like a target and having your toddler throw the balls at the tape to watch ’em stick. It’s a cute little fun game that they enjoy, takes less than five minutes, and they won’t be complaining that they’re bored for too long!

Moms, if you have any wonderful ideas, we’d love to hear about it, and you might see that on the next Mom to Mom.
