HCSO respond to online threats against Red Bank High School

RED BANK, Tenn. (WDEF) – On September 24, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were notified of threats made on social media towards Red Bank High School.

HCSO School Resource Deputies and Tennessee Homeland Security responded to a local address to investigate.

The investigation determined the suspect, Avery York, made threats on TikTok.

York has been arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Jail & Detention Center without further incident.

The suspect is being charged with two counts of Threats of Mass Violence at a School.

There is no threat to any of the students or faculty of that school at this time.

The individual is currently waiting to be booked and no mug shot was available.
