Woman Arrests Man Who Allegedly Killed Her Own Father
A Brazilian woman who became a police officer to find her father’s killer finally made an arrest. In 1999, Givaldo José Vicente de Deus was killed at a bar in Boa Vista. The main suspect, Raimundo Alves Gomes, fled the scene and was never caught. Givaldo’s eldest daughter Gislayne decided to become a police officer and finally arrested Gomes in September of this year. “When I saw him at the police station, I made a point of telling him who I was and that I had been responsible for carrying out the arrest warrant,” Gislayne said. “I shared the news with my family, and everyone felt a great sense of peace and justice.” (Oddity Central)
