Man Sues City Council For Inability To Dig Up His Bitcoin

UK man James Howells is suing the City Council of Newport for preventing him from digging up his Bitcoin. Howells, whose hard drive containing 8,000 Bitcoin was accidentally thrown away, has been seeking permission to excavate 100,000 tons of garbage in search of the missing crypto. The hard drive could be worth up to $500 million dollars. However, the City Council has rejected his request due to environmental concerns. In response, Howells is now seeking $647 million dollars in his lawsuit. (Daily Hodl)
