Florida Man Allegedly Threatens Crew Restoring Electricity

A Florida man allegedly threatened to shoot linemen who were working to restore power after Hurricane Milton. According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Kenneth Ray Velasco grew impatient with a traffic delay as powerline crews worked. Velasco reportedly backed his car into a utility pole and threatened to shoot crew members. “For this person to threaten their lives and deliberately endanger them, all because of a traffic delay, shows a disturbing lack of regard for the safety of others,” Sheriff Chad Chronister said. Velasco faces charges of assault and felony criminal mischief. (Fox 13 News)
