CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- We are just 15 days away from Election Day, and many candidates are making their final pitches to voters.
Tennessee Democrats made a stop Monday afternoon at Coolidge Park to talk with voters.
They are looking to make a dent into the Republican Supermajority across the state, as they currently only have 24 seats in the state House and six seats in the state Senate.
However, they believe they can turn that around by directly engaging with voters.
Representative John Ray Clemmons said of their efforts, “It’s about investing in people. Its about making a difference in the lives of working people. I’m proud to be here in Chattanooga with this beautiful backdrop on this beautiful bridge to talk about these issues with these fine people who are going to make a difference in people’s lives and make a change in the Tennessee Legislature.”
They will be making stops all across the state throughout the week.
