Jackson County man charged with murder after dispute

 

JACKSON COUNTY, Al. (WDEF) —  A man out of Jackson County was charged with murder after a dispute with his neighbor led to a shooting.

At 3:09 p.m. November 4, 2024, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) deputies responded to a residence off of County Road 12 for a shooting report.

Upon arrival, deputies found 42-year-old Adam Douglas Cooner deceased.

JCSO reported 57-year-old Daniel Lambert was arrested and charged for the murder of Cooner.

WHNT stated that the shooting occurred because of a dispute between Cooner and Lambert.

Lambert is being held at the Jackson County Detention Center.

His bond has yet to be set.
