Decatur Fire Department responds to early morning structure fire

DECATUR, Tenn. (WDEF) —  The Decatur Fire Department (DFD) and Meigs County Emergency Services responded to an early morning structure fire.

At approximately 2:00 a.m., November 18, 2024, crews were dispatched to the 300 block of E Memorial Drive.

Upon arrival, crews found an active structure fire, and immediately began working.

DFD requested more manpower from Tri-State Mutual Aid.

The Athens Fire Department (AFD) and McMinn County Fire Department also assisted.

No word on any injuries reported from the incident.
