Chattanooga Police investigating Blackford Street shooting

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) —  The Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) is investigating a shooting that occurred on Blackford Street yesterday.

Officers with CPD responded to the 2100 block of Blackford Street at 2:09 p.m. December 2, 2024.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 54-year-old male with non-life-threatening injuries.

Hamilton County EMS responded to the scene and transported him to a local hospital.

According to CPD’s preliminary investigation, the victim was outside a residence when he heard shots fired.

He then realized he had been struck.
