Canadian Man Wins Microsoft Excel World Championships

Canadian financial modeling director Michael Jarman defeated 11 finalists to become the Microsoft Excel World Champion. Jarman went home from Las Vegas with $5,000 and a championship belt. The final challenge asked participants to track the experience points and other stats of a World of Warcraft campaign. “I mean, I’m not a WoW player myself, but it was pretty cool,” Jarman said. “It’s definitely, you know, a really great memory for me, and will be for a long time.” (UPI)
