Chattanooga to celebrate Dolly Parton

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – In a heartwarming tribute to a true Tennessee icon, Signal Centers is launching a special celebration for the one and only Dolly Parton’s birthday.

Signal Centers, a local organization dedicated to empowering individuals through education, support, and inclusion, is pulling out all the stops to celebrate Dolly’s big day.

The event will feature several Dolly-themed activities which will all be designed to capture the spirit of Dolly’s remarkable career and humanitarian efforts.

This event promises to honor the legendary singer, songwriter, and philanthropist in a way that brings our community together while reflecting her enduring legacy of kindness, creativity, and generosity.

Whether it is the Imagination Library which provides free books to children, The Dollywood Foundation, The Wildfire and Disaster Relief, or even Breast Cancer Research and Awareness, Dolly Parton is always looking to help the community.

While the event is packed with fun and entertainment, there’s a deeper purpose. Proceeds and awareness from the celebration will support Signal Centers’ programs along with the imagination library ensuring they can continue to make a difference in the community.

Local organizations throughout the area are even participating by dining at various restaurants, attending a UTC basketball game, or even Clumpies creating a Dolly Parton exclusive ice cream flavor.
